The Digestion Session: this is one of my favorite classes! Our digestive system impacts the health and wellbeing of our entire body and experience. Science is continually linking gut health to overall health and disease prevention. This class will explore digestion anatomy and function along with common issues such as food sensitivity, constipation, and leaky gut. We will discuss how to restore an imbalanced digestive system and ways to maintain a vibrant and thriving gut. The gut is also the energetic location of our Basic Self which is a 4 or 5 year old self and our intuition. If you are curious about the Basic Self and are interested in going beyond the physical understanding of the digestive system join us - this class is for you!
Sunday, March 19th 10am-1pm
The Detox Session: we will be exploring the role of the liver and its important job of helping remove hormones and toxins from your body. Many issues such as hormone imbalance, food sensitivity, skin conditions, and hyper-sensitivity to the environment can all be attributed to an exhausted liver. We will learn simple and powerful ways of detoxing the liver and how to provide support using food, supplements and lifestyle changes. And no - this is not a lesson on juicing! We will touch on the difference between a cleanse and a detox and learn easy and nourishing ways you can implement both strategies. We will also explore ways to remove and let go of beliefs or situations in your life that are no longer serving you. In this new year - letting go of what no longer serves us is a great way to jump start the new year, gain energy, and connect with our inner peace.
Sunday, April 9th 10am-1pm
The Metabolism Session: this is another personal favorite. The thyroid is a gland that controls our metabolism and energy. It creates thyroid hormone that is needed in EVERY single cell in the body. That is right - a healthy thyroid supports healthy bones, hair, skin, nails, brain, heart, and gut to name a few. This class shares the most modern and recent scientific understandings of the thyroid, what causes dysregulation, what leads to autoimmunity, and practical ways to restore thyroid health and balance. The thyroid is located in the throat chakra - the energetic location of our voice and power. We will go deeper into this topic and explore how to build intimacy with those parts within ourselves. Participants will also have the opportunity to schedule a free 15-min consultation with me to discuss bloodwork lab results.
Sunday, May 7th 10am-1pm
The Energy Fatigue Session: our adrenals are small glands located above our kidneys that control blood sugar, burn protein and fat and most commonly known - regulating the body's stress response. We will explore the function of the adrenals, the impact of stress and trauma, common signs and symptoms of dysregulation, and simple strategies to support adrenal health and wellness. We will take the opportunity to sit with our own stillness in the support of the group, explore limiting beliefs we may have that limit us from nurturing ourselves and cultivate intimacy with our own loving within ourselves.
Sunday, June 11th 10am-1pm
The Mental Session: we will complete the series with brain health. Anxiety and depression are common symptoms that many of us experience or have experienced in the past or have a family member that suffers from them. Sometimes life events or hormonal changes impact the health and wellbeing of our mental function. The foods we eat or do not eating can also have an effect on our mental health. We will discuss brain anatomy and critical nutrients needed for optimal brain health. We will also discuss the brain's connection to the gut and visa versa and practical ideas to support mental function for yourself and your family. Our brain holds the energetic location of our mind - which is a beautiful and miraculous thing. Often times we keep our minds so busy in our day-to-day life that we forget to give it a break or let it be free to support our spiritual growth. In this class we will explore our Palace of Inner Knowing; we will build intimacy with the part of us that holds our Inner Teacher.
